2 YouTube Channels I’d Build Right Now

to grow fast...

KICKSTART YOUR YOUTUBE EMPIRE

Hey, it’s Scott.

This week, I found two creators growing by doing something deceptively simple:

Taking subjects people find intimidating and making them feel easy.

Joyee Yang does it with investing. TJ Power does it with neuroscience and brain chemistry. And our three video outliers take the exact same approach with life advice, collagen, and dopamine.

Nobody clicked because they wanted another 60-minute lecture. They clicked because they were promised 30 cheat codes, 9 foods, or a simple BEST vs WORST list.

That’s the opportunity: expertise matters, but the creators winning attention are increasingly the ones who can compress that expertise into something viewers immediately understand and can use.

Here are 5 YouTube markets where we see increased demand and decreased supply.

💡Channel Idea #1

🏆 Award: The Money Translator
👁️ kViews:video ratio = 90 (medium)
🤝 kSubs:video ratio = 4(medium)
💻 Video product: Beginner investing, wealth building, and personal finance
📊 Category: Finance / Investing
🥷🏽 Difficulty:6/10

AdSense
Scope: Yes
Details: Estimated monthly AdSense revenue is projected at $3,500 to $5,000

Brand Deals
Scope: Yes
Details: Brokerages, investing platforms, banks, financial apps, ETFs and budgeting tools all have a direct fit. Joyee has already worked around this ecosystem, including links to platforms such as Blossom and Wealthsimple.

Own Products
Scope: Strong
Details: The audience can naturally expand into investing guides, portfolio tools, communities, consultations, newsletters or beginner courses. Joyee already offers 1:1 calls, which shows how the trust built through free education can move into higher-value offers.

🎯 Our take:

What This Channel Did Well: Joyee’s advantage isn’t having access to some investing secret nobody else knows. It’s making money feel less intimidating. Her strongest videos package broad financial concepts around extremely clear outcomes: building your first portfolio, reaching financial freedom, deleting bad money habits or finding “boring” investments that work. That simplicity is especially powerful for younger viewers who know they should invest but don’t know where to begin.

Lessons for Aspiring Creators: You don’t always need deeper information. Sometimes you need a better translation layer. Find something your audience thinks is complicated and become the person who makes it feel obvious.

Applying This Niche to Other Areas: The same approach works for taxes, insurance, mortgages, legal advice, cybersecurity or even AI. A creator who can turn intimidating jargon into “here are the three things you actually need to know” can own a surprisingly large audience.

Channel Worth: Estimated at $300K–$600K, with upside from finance sponsorships, affiliates and owned education products.

Production Costs: ~$1.5K–$3K/month. Talking-head production is relatively lean; research, scripting, graphics and packaging matter more than expensive filming.

💡Channel Idea #2

🏆 Award: The Brain Chemistry Translator
👁️ kViews:video ratio = 110 (high)
🤝 kSubs:video ratio = 5 (high)
💻 Video product: Neuroscience-backed habits, dopamine and modern wellbeing
📊 Category: Neuroscience / Self-Improvement / Wellness
🥷🏽 Difficulty: 5/10

AdSense
Scope: Yes
Details: AdSense revenue is estimated between $4,500 and $7,500.

Brand Deals
Scope: Yes
Details: Productivity apps, wellness products, wearables, sleep brands, education platforms and mental-performance tools are natural fits.

Own Products
Scope: Strong
Details: TJ already demonstrates the larger business model. He has a bestselling book, corporate speaking, live DOSE experiences and longer-term programs built around his framework. His site says he has trained more than 100,000 people and delivered 650+ live keynotes.

🎯 Our take:

What This Channel Did Well: TJ isn’t trying to teach neuroscience like a university course. He takes one scientific idea and connects it directly to a problem people feel every day: phone addiction, low motivation, loneliness, overstimulation, or difficulty focusing. The DOSE framework gives all of that content a recognizable system: dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, so separate videos still feel like episodes from the same intellectual world.

Lessons for Aspiring Creators: A framework is more powerful than random expertise. Give people a simple mental model they can remember, then use your videos to repeatedly apply that model to new problems.

Applying This to Other Areas: A nutritionist could have five rules that explain every diet trend. A business strategist could build one framework for diagnosing companies. A therapist could create a model for understanding relationships. The framework becomes intellectual IP, and the content becomes endless applications.

Channel Worth: Estimated at $300K–$400K, especially because YouTube feeds a much larger ecosystem of books, speaking, training, and programs.

Production Costs: ~$2K–$4K/month. The format itself can stay simple, but credible research, scripting, and visual explanations matter.

🎥 Video outlier #1

👁️ Views:Subs ratio = 140 (high)
💻 Video product: Life advice / self-improvement list
📊 Category: Self-Development / Productivity
🥷🏽 Difficulty: 6/10

💰 Our take:
Calling these ideas “cheat codes” makes ordinary life advice feel like hidden information rather than another lecture. The number 30 adds density and perceived value, while “every level of life” makes the promise unusually broad. The repeatable lesson is to package familiar expertise into a memorable container: cheat codes, rules, laws, mistakes, shortcuts, or principles, so viewers immediately understand what they’re getting.

Channel Worth: Estimated at $500K–$900K, with considerable additional value from books, speaking and owned audiences.

Production Costs: ~$1.5K–$3K/month, mostly research, scripting, filming, and clean visual storytelling.

🎥 Video outlier #2

👁️ Views:Subs ratio = 150 (high)
💻 Video product: Food-based anti-aging explainer
📊 Category: Health / Nutrition / Longevity
🥷🏽 Difficulty: 5/10

💰 Our take:
The packaging stacks three huge consumer interests into one title: food, appearance, and aging. “9 foods” makes the solution easy to understand, while skin and hair give viewers two visible outcomes instead of one. The lesson isn’t to copy aggressive health promises; it’s that health content becomes much more clickable when complicated biology is translated into a simple action viewers can picture themselves taking today.

Channel Worth: Estimated at $1.2M–$2M+, given the audience size and monetization potential across health products, sponsors, and owned offers.

Production Costs: ~$3K–$6K/month, particularly if the channel maintains a high publishing frequency with research-heavy health content.

🎥 Video outlier #3

👁️ Views:Subs ratio = 180 (high)
💻 Video product: Expert habit ranking / podcast interview
📊 Category: Neuroscience / Wellness / Self-Improvement
🥷🏽 Difficulty: 7/10

💰 Our take: “Worst vs Best” turns a complicated neuroscience discussion into something viewers can instantly judge themselves against. The expert credential builds authority, dopamine provides a culturally relevant topic, and ranking behaviors give the long-form conversation built-in progression. This format can transfer almost anywhere: BEST vs WORST foods, money habits, exercises, productivity systems, or parenting behaviors, with an expert explaining each one.

Channel Worth: Estimated at $300K–$400K, especially because YouTube feeds a much larger ecosystem of books, speaking, training, and programs.

Production Costs: ~$2K–$4K/month. The format itself can stay simple, but credible research, scripting, and visual explanations matter.
